Project Engineer - Power Plant/Design/Project 70-95 K/yr

Engineering & Construction client is looking for a Sr. Project Engineer with 7-15+ years of experience in the power generation industry. The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of fossil steam generation, product design and engineering execution processes with previous experience in a lead technical role. Experience working on power plant design projects for an Engineering company, Utility, Services company or OEM in the power industry is needed. You must have a broad understanding of the different equipment & systems in a power plant as well as plant lay out. You will oversee the integrated execution of all phases of engineering for large, utility Boiler projects in collaboration with functional engineering groups. You will also have matrix accountability for engineering quality, cost and schedule performance. You need a BS degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Chemical. You will represent the engineering functions as a member of the Project Manager's team from contract initiation through warranty close out, ensuring that engineering is well-integrated with overall project execution. You will also provide technical guidance/input during bid stage, including participation in contract negotiations. This job does require some domestic and international travel.
