Project Engineer - Richmond, VA

The Northeast Region of Hanson Pipe & Precast, Inc. has an employment opportunity for a recent engineering (civil or mechanical) graduate or someone with 2-3 years experience to assist in the project management of multiple capital projects throughout the region. Projects range from the construction of complete new plant facilities to partial remodeling of existing plants to the installation of new manufacturing machines. On site management of vendors and contractors along with design and layout work to facilitate projects will be typical as well as periodic supervision of steel fabrication work at the Richmond, VA, in-house, fabrication shop that routinely supports capital projects.  

 

Hanson is an international building materials company with its main headquarters in London and its US headquarters in Dallas. The Northeast Region currently includes plant facilities in Virginia, Maryland, Ohio, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Ontario, Minnesota and South Dakota that manufacture concrete pipe and precast concrete products for the storm and sanitary sewer market and concrete masonry units for the residential and commercial building industry. There are currently 22 plant facilities in the Northeast Region.
