Project Engineer Senior E/S

Direct report to Center manager for Mechanical Production Engineering (MPE). :Provide technical leadership to MPE staff of Manufacturing and M&P engineers. Assist program in developing technical solutions in support of cost and schedule commitments. Support proposal activities. Will serve as a reviewer for various design, production and test readiness reviews and be able to assess detailed Mechanical Design, fab/assy and test approaches and provide credible requirements feedback on spacecraft and laser systems. Must have a solid productivity, assembly and tooling background for metallic and composite hardware as well as schedule insightfulness.


Must have excellent decision making capability, interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels of functional and project management. BS in Mechanical or aerospace Engineering, with 15 years of experience desired. Additional years of experience in lieu of a degree are acceptable. 6 Sigma Green Belt certification a plus. Current EBI/SSBI clearance strongly preferred.
