Mattel, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to join its team of innovative Electronic Toys Product Development professionals at its Design Center in El Segundo, CA.

Here is an opportunity to work with some of finest designers and engineers in the toy industry supporting all Mattel brands including Barbie, Hot Wheels, and Tyco R/C. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Looking for a fast-paced and exciting work environment? Dozens of new electronic based toy SKUs every year makes this position both challenging and rewarding. You must be able to communicate effectively with both other engineers and non-technical members of Mattel Brands Toy Design team and will routinely be expected to collaborate in brainstorming new product concepts. Our ideal candidate has a playful and inventive instinct in addition to expertise as an electronic design engineer.

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS REQUIRED
Experience with analog circuit and embedded microcontroller hardware design, assembly code and software development systems a must. Familiarity with Sunplus, EMC, Winbond, Sonix, PIC micros is a plus. Ability to multi-task, handling several projects simultaneously is also a must. Experience working with China based vendors a plus. Ability to roll with changing schedules a must, experience with MS Project a plus.

Must have a BS in Electronic Engineering or equivalent plus at least 5 years, hands-on experience in design, prototyping and troubleshooting analog and digital electronic circuits.
