Job Requirements:

 

Bachelor or Graduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering discipline, required. Specialized industry related experience should include 10-15 years project management experience with in the 'food' industry. Packaging experience is desirable. This position will have project management responsibilities at the client?s manufacturing facilities in GA. and reports to the Jacobs Business Unit, Manager of Projects in Battle Creek, MI. Accountable for control of all project processes within Jacobs defined Scope of Work (e.g. Project Management, Programming, Design, Procurement, full EPC, Etc.). Proficiency utilizing  Microsoft Office suites (Word, Excel and Outlook) to prepare protocols, plans, and reports.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

Primary responsibility for the cost, schedule, and performance on assigned projectsDefining, understanding, communicating and meeting the requirements of our client and  Jacobs Alliance agreement Ensures that each project develops and implements project execution and constructability plans  Executing the project in accordance with the highest ethical, moral and legal standards, and within the constraints of the  Jacobs Alliance contract and the documented project procedures / best practices per the  Jacobs Alliance procedures manualIdentifying and understanding where the areas of risk lie and managing them accordinglyAssistance with the skills and resources required and utilize ?team-building? techniques to keep the morale and productivity of the team highWork with various disciplines from the Greenville and Battle Creek offices in scheduling the skills and resources required and utilizing their experience and talents to their fullest extent.Prepare monthly site reports for review by the project operations and relationship managersPrepare change orders as necessary to facilitate cost effective project executionCommunicating with the client's personnel, the project team, and other partiesFollowing tried and tested procedures as well as developing innovative techniques for improvementProactively developing a ?partnership? with the appropriate client's goals and objectivesMentor other office project managers in Jacobs Alliance procedures and best practices
