Job Description
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of project teams to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through a subordinate. Leads projects from small to medium complexity and financial impact. Personally executes projects as scope dictates.

The essential duties of this position include but are not limited to:
? Manages capital projects, improvement projects, or product transfers as assigned. Ensures that all projects are executed properly, attaining desired outcomes in schedule, cost, and quality.
? Develop project management best practices policies and procedures to ensure consistent methodology across the King organization.
? Communicates status of assigned projects proactively.
? Conducts analysis of potential projects for financial impact, timing, or regulatory concerns.
? Develops project plans and monitors for accomplishment.
? Leads product transfer projects, both internal and external moves.
? Provides engineering support for manufacturing processes and facilities; provides detailed plans and drawings for review for change control; and design for process and systems as requested.
? Supports Validation efforts.
? Develops and maintains a schedule and budget for the assigned engineering project.
? Provides reports on the status of project milestones to customer, project team, and management, and adjusts schedules accordingly.
? Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget.
? Coordinates preparation and delivery of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages.
? Assigns and oversees project personnel to specific phases or aspects of project such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications and technical plans, and product testing; identifies project staffing requirements.
? Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
? Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
? Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases.



Essential Skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with ten years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
