Position:  Project Manager/ Field Deployment

Location:  Rolling Meadows, Ill

This person will be responsible for  providing project management  methodologies for all CDMA roll out. He will also be acting as a first level support for BTS deployment issues from the field. Should be able to work with very minimal supervision with no formal instructions. The person should have excellent written and oral communication skills and  proven track record of promoting knowledge share. Should be capable of working at  high levels with R&D, Business Units, Product Management, Service Organizations.

 

 

Responsibilities:

?  CDMA 2000 Project Management practices

?  CDMA 2000 project control practices

?  Will be supporting global CDMA i-Cel deployment .

?  Provide requirements for site selection and construction.

?  Working with R&D, Product Management to provide inputs on product development from a Serviceability perspective. 

?  Facilitate technical escalations from the regions to the development / field support organization and help prioritize maintenance releases.

 

Requirements:

?  Seasoned Project management  professional

?  Excellent knowledge on CDMA

?  Excellent knowledge on Project management tools (MS project)

?  Excellent knowledge on project control practices

?  Managed at least one CDMA vendor solutions previously.

?  Excellent knowledge on site construction

?  Good knowledge on IP startdards.

?  Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Electronics or  Electrical Engineering with at least  2  years of relevant experience.

?  Superior customer service skills

?  Excellent written and oral communication skills

?  Self motivated
