Ranked among the top 50 national design firms (ENR 2005), Michael Baker Jr. Inc, a division of Michael Baker Corporation seeks a Project Manager to work in the Phoenix, AZ office located in the metropolitan Phoenix area.
Michael Baker Jr., Inc. has an opening for a Mid-level Project Manager in our Phoenix office to support various environmental compliance projects. General Qualifications include:Knowledge of regulatory programs (e.g., CWA, CAA, EPCRA, state UST) Experience with hazardous materials/hazardous waste and oil and hazardous substance spill prevention and response planning projects Expertise in solid waste management; detection and remediation of UST leaks; pollution prevention;source reduction and recycling; and EMS and general auditing
Duties to include:Preparing of compliance documents (e.g., SPCC, Integrated Contingency Plans, Tank Management Plans) Conducting site visits, on-site audits, and potentially environmental sampling Regulartory review and analysis Project management and client development Developing compliance practice and capabilities in office
Interested candidates must have 5-10 years of experience working for an environmental consulting firm or Government agency. Work experience with the DOD or other government agencies preferred, but not required. A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or Earth Sciences if required (a Masters degree is highly desirable). Project locations are predominately in the Southwest and California, and possibly other western states.
