Project Manager - Logistics Engineer (Distribution)

This position is responsible for providing servant leadership to a group of 2-4 project managers. The Senior Project Manager has responsibility for:


1. The Overall coordination of site selection activities for new distribution centers
2. Developing the capital budgets for new DC equipment ($300M)
3. Managing the purchase and installation of equipment in new distribution centers
4. Tracking and reporting of project expenditures vs. budget
5. Managing the escalation of critical issues with senior leadership.

 

Requirements

1. Bachelor?s degree in an engineering related field.
2. At least three years of project management experience with exposure to construction activities.
3. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervisory experience.
4. Ability to travel 50-70 week nights per year.
5. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

Additional Preferred Requirements
1. Master?s degree
2. Experience with distribution center design and construction
3. Experience with material handling system design and construction.
