Project/Mechanical Engineer

 

Degreed Mechanical Engineer. Very skilled with Pro/Engineer.

Experience designing hand-held consumer or medical devices. 

Will be designing new products as well as modifications to existing designs.

Electronics packaging, plastic injection molded parts, surfacing.

 

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of experience developing hand-held electronic devices for medical or consumer use.  A proven track record of product commercialization is required.  Proficiency with CAD, specifically ProEngineer (Wildfire) including surfacing and form development, is highly desired.  Experience with plastic part design for injection molding and a broad exposure to other common manufacturing processes is necessary.

 

Requirements

 

Education/Knowledge

? Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.

? Minimum of 5 years of Product Development and Design experience.

? Proven track record of product commercialization.

? Proficiency with ProEngineer.

? Experience with plastic part design for injection molding and a broad exposure to common manufacturing processes.
