We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our thermoforming operation in St. Paul, Minnesota.

This position reports to the Director of Project Engineering as a member of Product/Project design team and will be responsible for managing projects through their full life cycle.

This includes managing the product development process in a manufacturing environment-  plan, implement and monitor projects, including concept through launch, within budgeted costs, to ensure objectives are met by:

o Managing product design, development, out sourcing, tooling, testing and release to production, including quality control processes

o Coordinating and managing tooling projects, provides direction and team development within the project team

o Acting as a technical advisor between customer, sales and internal staff

o Financial analysis, budgeting for new product development and cost containment

o Project planning, defining, scheduling, implementing and controlling program objectives

o Successful in directing the agreed-upon tasks towards completion, including technical requirements, key milestones, schedules, target costs, innovation and trade-offs

o Provide proper documentation to ensure payment for initial project and subsequent modifications

o Research, identify and evaluate potential new projects.

? Project Management experience required (Program Leadership, Project management principles, concepts, and process.

? Performance skill requirements include influencing, presentation skills, project management, and documentation of results.

? Some travel will be required (approximate 25%).

? Requirements include 5+ years project/product management in manufacturing (in vacuum forming/injection molding industries preferred) combined with a Bachelors degree (or equivalent) - Engineering desired.
