Project Risk Analyst

 Duties and Responsibilities

?  Develop project risk assessments, involved specifically in evaluating the commercial and technical aspects of the Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases, for the Engineering and Chemicals division. THIS IS NOT a FINANCIAL or INSURANCE RISK position.

?  Assist with the implementation of defined project risk management practices, during the

  acquisition and execution phases of EPC projects (Engineering, Procurement and Construction)

?  Ongoing risk management support to project teams, during project set-up and quarterly reporting cycles for awarded projects..

?  Executes analytical work as directed to identify, assess and quantify risk for key project decisions.

?  Creates stochastic/probabilistic models (?what if? scenarios) using Pertmaster to assess schedule variability and sensitivity to risk events.

?  Assists project teams in developing risk registers and provides guidance in the development and implementation of risk response plans.

?  Involved in preparing training materials and conducts risk management training workshops for project teams.

?  Position has budgetary type accountabilities.

?  MUST be available for short-term international business travel.

?  Minimum two year commitment required.

Skill Requirements and Qualifications:

?  Bachelors degree required (preferably in a technical or commercial discipline)

?  Minimum 7-10 years background in Industrial/Commercial engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) related work.

?  Familiarity with Pertmaster risk analysis software preferred, but experience with similar Monte Carlo type software acceptable.

?  Strong presentation skills are a must

?  Should be able to prepare training materials and conduct risk training classes

?  Exceptional communication, interpersonal and team-work skills are required

?  MS Office proficiency; Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, etc. required
