Proposal Writer

Weston & Sampson, a leading environmental and infrastructure engineering firm, seeks a proposal/technical writer to work in its Peabody, Massachusetts headquarters.  Our areas of specialty include water supply, wastewater, hazardous waste, brownfields redevelopment, solid waste, transportation, surveying, landscape architecture and GIS.

 

Responsibilities for this position include writing and editing winning technical proposals, collateral materials, and newsletter and journal articles.  The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, computer-intensive, deadline-driven environment with technical staff members of all levels.  Candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and a team player who is able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Candidate must possess a relevant bachelor level degree and expert writing skills.  Experience in the Engineering industry is a plus, however, will consider entry-level candidates. Must have excellent computer skills, preferably with Word, Excel and Pagemaker.  This full-time position will report to the Marketing Manager.
