QA/Test Engineer

Sage Software, Inc. – Nonprofit Solutions is a leading developer of financial software solutions for the nonprofit and governmental markets. We have an excellent opportunity for a Quality Assurance Analyst to analyze, develop, and execute test plans for financial and fundraising software development.

 

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

 

?  Execute Test Plans.

?  Track defects.

?  Develop testing documentation.

?  Analyze design specifications for clarity, accuracy, readability, and usability.

?  Inspect user interface to ensure it meets company standards.

?  Analyze system documentation, including on-line help and manuals.

?  Utilize automated testing tools; i.e. outline test scripts, record test scripts, and run test scripts.

?  Provide accurate time to completion assessments.

?  Analyze design specifications to detect flaws in logic.

?  Performing other related duties as assigned.

 

We require the following qualifications at a minimum:

 

?  Bachelor?s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field, or possess equivalent experience.

?  2-3 years of experience in development, research, or product testing.

?  Prior experience working with accounting software a plus.

?  Data analysis abilities using Excel, SQL Enterprise Manager/Query Analyzer, etc.

?  Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

?  Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

?  Ability to multi-task and handle unexpected tasks in a professional manner.

?  Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and a functional level.

?  An understanding of non-profit organizations and/or accounting software products a plus.
