QTP Expert

QTP EXPERT QA Engineer with experience in testing internet and distributed applications, testing web applications and web services.



Individual will be responsible for testing efforts during Staging/Pre-Production, End to End and user-acceptance testing phases utilizing best practices in software testing methodologies.

Responsibilities will include the following:

-Test plan creation
-Test scenario identification and creation
-Test plan executive
-Release Acceptance Testing (RAT)
-Functional Acceptance Simple Testing (FAST)
-Task-Oriented Functional Testing (TOFT)
-Forced Error Testing (FET)
-System-Level Testing
-Regression Testing










Able to execute and report performance metrics of: Performance Tests, Load Tests, Scalability Tests and Stress Tests. 3 years minimum of extensive QTP experience and solid experience with writing the scripts. 3 years of programmatic fluency with VBScript. Hands-on experience with Unix and shell scripting. Good knowledge of SQL, MySQL and Oracle database. Should have a good understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols and configurations, and client/server architectures. Sound knowledge of network and telecom applications; SIP protocol and network capture/ sniff tools experience preferred.
Should be able to perform defect tracking, defects and metrics reporting and test and verification logging systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Desired Skills:

Experience integrating QTP with Test Director will be a plus.
Experience with Mercury Interactive Loadrunner, and Test Director tools will be a plus.
