Quality Assurance Engineer (ISO9001:2000)

Our Los Angeles manufacturing facility is seeking a candidate for a Quality Assurance Engineer.

This candidate will be a leader and set the pace for the quality program, and update management accordingly.


The duties of this Quality Assurance Engineer position includes but is not limited to:


-Develops, applies, revises and maintains quality standards for designing and /or processing materials into partially finished or finished products

-Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action

-Prepares documentation for design, development, programmatic, administrative, safety and business procedures

- Responsible for fast tracking PPAP, PFMEA, DFMEA, and other customer requirements per AIAG Manual (Third Edition).

-Coordinates Improvement Teams focused on Quality Improvements & Cost Reductions in an office/design environment.

- Conducts internal audits as well as supervises and coordinates requirements for third part registration audits.



Qualificatons include:



-Three plus years in Adult Learning Techniques a plus.

-Statistical background preferred.

-BS IE/ME preferred, experience in lieu of degree will also be considered.

-Experience in ISO 9001:2000

-Excellent presentation, communication and interface skills required.
