Quality Assurance - Engineer IV

In this role the Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for coordinating test activities and provide technical leadership within QA team members at different locations.

The responsibilities include
(1)Work closely with development team to resolve issues, report clear defects and produce metrics for defects and test results.
(2)Review, provide feedbacks related to architecture, product functionality, technical designs and implementations as well as testability of the applications to product managers and product development team.
(3)Responsible for developing test plans and comprehensive test cases/scripts based on requirements, functional specifications and use cases for functional, regression and integration testing; execution of test cases/scripts and logging of results.
(4)Provide technical leadership through testing cycles and mentor junior team members. Help QA manager to train new hires in the QA team.
(5)Provide feedbacks and suggestions to improve test strategies, test coverage and overall process and automation test harness.
(6)Coordinate deployment plans with production support group; help to build client/server and web testing environments as needed.
(7)This person must be able to handle multiple projects delivery at same time if needed.

' Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. Master's degree preferred.
' Strong hands-on experiences throughout different phase of software development lifecycle.
' Minimum of 8 years experiences as a QA or development engineer and 4 Years as QA or development lead.
' 3+ years experience on testing Web-based applications.
' Experience working with Silk or equivalent tools.
' Strong technical knowledge in Java. Experiencs of defining requirements for automated test tools and automated testing development a plus.
' Experience with mobile device testing/development (BREW, J2ME) a plus.
' Experience with database (SQL), Unix/Linux and shell/perl scripting.
' Any previous exposure to 3-tier web testing or client ' server and troubleshooting thru log and database review is needed.
' Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be able to take initiative to get information, seek clarification, and elevate problems when necessary.
' Familiarity with application performance/load testing or RAS testing a plus.
