Quality Assurance Inspectors: Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical & Electrical Engineers
Serve as a member of the Quality Assurance team for construction of the new $64M Exploration Sciences Bldg with supporting site utilities. The ESB is a 262,500 SF concrete framed four story office and laboratory building with brick, glass and metal siding. The ESB is USGBC LEED Silver. Site utilities include chilled water & steam. Positions include responsibility for inspection, monitoring safety compliance, preparation of daily reports, attending meetings, reviewing submittals, reviewing design drawings, and performing other construction management functions as required. Ability to work nights & weekends as required.
Minimum ten years field experience in respective construction discipline.
QA experience on 3 projects of comparable size in last 7 years.
Working knowledge of the following codes & standards:
Architectural - NFPA 101, ICC
Civil/Structural - ASTM D3740. AWS, ACI
Mechanical - SMCNA, NFPA 13 & 90, AWS, IPC, ASME 31.1 & 31.9, IEST Clean Room Certifications ISO-14644
Electrical - NFPA 70, 70E & 72
Evidence of annual QA/QC continuing education.
Certification for OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Course.
Experience with Expedition Construction Management software.
