Quality Control Positions (Inspection & Engineering)

Sr. Electronics Inspector: Inprocess, incoming and final inspectors needed for major Electronics Manufacturers in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens areas.

 

Inprocess Inspector: Working in the customer service department. Also doing final inspection. Experience with IPC 610 and J Std 001 is helpful. Reading drawing and op sheets.

 

Mechanical Lead Inspector (night shift): Responsible to inspect semi-finished and finished-machined parts for compliance to drawings and specifications. Knowledge of measuring precision equipment and threads. Geometric features per ANSI-B-Y 14.5 are required.

 

Mechanical Inspector: Experience with CMM.

 

Quality Engineer: Must be able to investigate and analyze quality control problems encountered in the manufacture of electro/mechanical systems and components, providing assistance in their solutions. Must be able to use statistical techniques to analyze inspection data for presentation to senior engineers for evaluation. Participate in defect prevention and scrap reduction programs. Make recommendations to manufacturing and through the purchasing department to vendors to prevent recurrence of defects.

 

Quality Manager: Develop, administer and maintain quality assurance procedures and activities required to ensure that the company's products are in compliance with quality standards established by the customer and FAA. Responsibilities include overseeing quality engineering, test and the RMA functions, seeking and implementing continuous improvement of products and procedures, working with marketing and the repair station to ensure customer satisfaction, working with engineering for product improvement via design reviews and failure analysis and assisting with ISO9000 compliance. Bachelor's Degree in a related field plus 5 plus years experience managing a  Quality Department. Strong leadership, communication and decision making skills along with knowledge of metrics, failure analysis and testing of electronic assemblies required. Experience working with FAA standards a strong plus.
