Job Description:

General Responsibilities:  Responsible for development of the project quality work packages and hydro plans.Responsible for audit and inspection of contractor maintenance/construction activities to verify compliance to contract quality requirements.Responsible for coordination and monitoring of quality-related activities Coordinate with other project and client personnel to ensure full implementation of the project quality program.Ensure that required quality records and documents are properly prepared and maintained.Perform surveillance of contractors and suppliers to determine their conformance to programmatic, procurement, and design requirements.Control nonconforming work activities or hardware through the implementation of the nonconformance control procedure.Cause the stoppage of maintenance/construction work activities when the controls that are in place are inadequate to ensure compliance with project design requirements.Ensure that quality inspection and testing personnel comply with established safety policies and procedures and practice safe work habits.

 

 

Job Requirements: Must have at least 10 years experience onsite at a petrochem/refinery facility 

Qualifications Required (experience, education, computer skills, etc.):Knowledge of ASME Codes for Pressure Vessels Section VIII, Div-I & API-510 Knowledge of ASME B31.1 (Power Piping), ASME B31.3 (Refinery Piping) and API-570 (Inspection, Repair, Alteration and Re-rating of In-service Piping SystemsKnowledge of ASME Section II material specifications and ASTM specifications. Knowledge of ANSI and API Specifications for, instrumentation, valves, safety relieving devices etc.Knowledge of ASME Section IX & AWS specifications (Welding Requirements)Knowledge of ASME Section V (Non-Destructive Testing Requirements)Previous inspection back round with a minimum of 5 years experience in the following areas:

A) Auditing / Surveillances

B)  Pressure Vessel & Welding Inspection

C)  In-process and final inspection and testing of civil / structural, piping systems & mechanical equipment,
