Quality Director

JOB DESCRIPTION: Quality Director being sought by a major chemical company.  Will have overall responsibility to manage a total Quality Program for a specific Business Product Line.  Will involve the U.S., Canada, South America.  Position physically located in Chattanooga, TN.  Job focus includes:
Conducting Quality Audit at each manufacturing site.  Identify and implement Corrective Actions where appropriate.
Evaluate/establish appropriate Quality standards and guidelines.
Manage ISO certification process.
Coordinate with Manufacturing and Customers to resolve any Quality issues.
Develop and implement a Quality strategy that results in a World Class Business Quality culture.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
BS Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related field.  Masters degree a plus.
Minimum 5 years Quality Assurance experience in a Chemical process manufacturing environment with at least 3 years as a Quality Manager.
Knowledge of all Lab, Test, Quality regulations and process associated with Chemical manufacturing processes.
Proven skills as a manager/leader.
Proficiency with computer operations.
International experience a plus.
