Quality Engineer/Manager
Major manufacturer of heavy machinary is seeking a highly motivated and accomplished quality engineer.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and conformance to ISO 9001 standards. Candidate will also be active in internal as well as external audits of the Quality system and communicating to all departments the findings of the audits with follow up on corrective actions. The quality engineer also has responsibility for product quality audits including the direct contact with dealers in addressing quality problems of prime product, projects relating to quality system monitoring, appraisal and maintenance, and other projects relating to quality as directed by the Corporate Quality Manager.
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor?s degree (Mfg Engineering or Engineering preferred),
3-5 years job related experience
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 standards with auditing and lead auditing experience
Knowledge of ISO 14000 standards
Knowledge of inspection gages and equipment and blue print interpretation
Experience with MS Office
Position is located in Houston, Texas. Relocation package is available.
