Quality Engineer - Repair Process

Job Description: Ensure external repair partners are operating to company quality guidelines.
Evaluate current repair processes and drive continuous improvement with vendors and company Repair Industrialization team. Implement new global repair initiatives.

Drive reduced scrap rates, reduced bounce rates.
Collect repair product quality data, analyze and provide feedback to Design Unit regarding product quality issues and improvements to reduce return rates.
Provide technical support for the company's certified repair centers.

Job Duties:
75% of time addressing repair process quality and scrap rate reductions with external vendors. 25% of time collecting and analyzing quality data in order to provide feedback on product quality issues to R&D and Repair Industrialization teams.

Education:
Preferred BS in Engineering or other Technical Discipline. Strong preference for Quality Certifications (ASQE / Blackbelt etc).

Desired Skills
1. Working Knowledge of RF Test S/W and processes
2. Highly skilled at quality data collection and analysis
3. Working knowledge of Manufacturing and/or repair processes

Experience
5+ years in:
1. Manufacturing Quality Engineer
2. Test Engineer
3. Quality Certifications
