Position Reponsibilities: ? Regular customer interaction including formal presentations to current and perspective customers. ? Providing Quality System information for proposals. ? Review of contracts, statements of work, and other contractual documents to determine the quality requirements of the program. ? Generation and maintenance of Quality program plans that ensure conformance to contract and company quality requirements. ? Providing direction and interpretation of customer guidelines and/or customer imposed quality standards/specifications. ? Assurance of a proper nonconforming material control system. ? Investigating and analyzing adverse quality trends and implementing corrective/preventive action. ? Working with program personnel to resolve quality issues and concerns. ? Explaining, confirming, and executing customer and contractual quality requirements under pressure and adverse conditions.Reporting on significant events, issues, problems and associated risks and resolutions to management.

Required Skills:

? Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent education, training and/or related work experience plus 5 or more years experience in Quality and/or related technical disciplines.

? An understanding of ISO 9001:2000 and AS 9100 Quality System Requirements in a design to manufacturing environment.

? Excellent communication skills, i.e. presentation, verbal and correspondence.

? Skilled in the use of MS office and MS project software applications.
