Quality Manager -  

Job Summary:

 

Medical device manufacturing facility for CBCT Imaging equipment is looking for an individual to provide plant-wide technical and operational leadership in the area of quality. Lead quality improvement projects and system changes to maintain quality improvement goals, modifications to procedures to improve quality process and testing feedback, and development of inspection and testing procedures. The company has a quality system currently registered and meeting compliance for FDA. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs.

 

Responsibilities:

-  Provide technical support to production in evaluation of product quality problems.

- Provide technical support to inspection and testing personnel.

- Develop work instructions and procedures to improve process feedback and reduce non-conformities.

- Comply with all quality system requirements.

- Execution and coordination of Quality Plan initiatives.

- Establish, maintain and coordinate a system of internal audits of the Quality Management System.

- Coordinate internal and external assessment activities.

- Conduct analysis of best opportunities for quality system improvements.

- May require some travel, less than 10% annually.

- All other tasks and projects as reasonably assigned by Vice President.

- Ability to set and meet project objectives and deadlines.

- Proven leadership skills within a Plant environment.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

 

Skills and educational requirements: Prefer a candidate with a four-year college degree (engineering a plus). Prefer 2-5 years experience in engineering and or quality management.  Manufacturing experience preferred.  Medical device electrical experience is a huge plus.

 

Interrelations: Contact required with all levels of company personnel.  There will be strong interactions with an international array of scientific, technical and business collaborators. 

 

Working conditions:  A 40-hour workweek, in an air-conditioned office environment located in Ardmore, OK.
