R&D Electrical Engineer
Requirements
Provide design, test, and analysis services to various development groups on audio, consumer electronic products and professional products. Ensure product compliance with customer and Bose specifications including applicable industry EMC standards. Communicate to design engineers the EMC specifications and requirements. Work with Validation Engineers to prepare product specific verification plans. Perform SPICE simulation of the electrical circuits. Coordinate validation testing reports, and root cause analysis of failures during development and testing. Work with product manager to coordinate EMI/RFI compliance testing and analysis. Devise new validation methods where needed and development written procedures.
Skills
Preferred experience in design and development of audio consumer electronics. Excellent math skills and problem-solving abilities desired. Advanced degree, RF experience, modeling software, DSP or Acoustics a plus.
Education
BSEE with 7-10 years of analog circuit design/development experience.
