R & D Sr. Implant Development Engineer

As a Senior Implant Development Engineer at Micron, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and conducting ion implant experiments and technical efforts between process integration, pilot line, and manufacturing for 200mm and 300mm technologies. In addition, you will evaluate current hardware solutions and provide recommendations to manufacturing regarding future hardware directions and needs for 300mm technologies.



Qualified candidates will have at least at least one year of implant process development experience and a minimum of three years experience working on beamline implant process support in a semiconductor manufacturing facility. 5 years of implant experience within the semiconductor industry and hands on experience with ion implantation hardware, processes, and characterization (300mm experience preferred) is preferred. You must have previous knowledge of experimental design and statistical evaluation of data in addition to strong parametric understanding of device performance. Other desirable competencies include material science, thin film deposition, excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a group environment. 


 


Education:
MS in Material Science, Physics, or Electrical Engineering is required.
