RF Engineer (Radar)

Division Overview: The Command Systems Division (CSD) originated in the earliest days of radar. In addition to State of The Art Radar Systems for both military and commercial customers, CSD is a leader in the design and development of Identification Friend-or-Foe (IFF) and Air Traffic Control (ATC) Systems. Long recognized for its high-tech applications in space and defense systems, Command Systems is gaining equal recognition for a wide array of successful commercial applications internationally including civil government. CSD?s systems cover a wide range of applications including: Secondary Surveillance Radar Systems, maritime patrol, weather and anti-submarine surveillance radar systems include features such as Inverse and Synthetic Aperture Radar (ISAR/SAR); air traffic management systems, command and control systems, microwave landing systems and related products.

Brief Summary: Researches, develops, designs, and tests electronic, electrical and mechanical components, equipment and systems and coordinates activities involved in their fabrication, operation, application, installation and repair. Develops and debugs functional diagnostic test programs for production hardware. Provides technical support to production personnel for release of new test programs and procedures (hardware and software). Assists in the transition from engineering to production test methods.

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Engineering from a four-year college, Master?s degree preferred and a minimum of 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience with RF system level design (receivers, frequency generation/conversion), active passive component design (amps, mixers, par. Dividers, etc.), RF test and measurement techniques. Must be familiar with radar systems and antennas. Must have a background that would permit the U.S. Department of Defense to issue a Secret clearance, which includes US citizenship.
