RF Matching Networks Engineer

Advanced Energy Industries has an immediate opening in our Fort Collins, Colorado location for a skilled RF matching network engineer. In this role you will be involved in the design of RF impedance matching networks and measurement instrumentation. You will technically lead and execute engineering projects. You will play a key role in the complete design cycle and be responsible for not only the matching network design but also integration and optimization into the customer?s end application and preparation of products for volume manufacturing. You will be involved in modeling and simulation activities using EM design tools. Development of specifications, customer presentations, customer application support and design documentation will be required.

Desired Qualifications and Skills:
? BSEE and a minimum of four years experience (MSEE preferred)
? Familiarity with RF matching network design and associated design tools
? Familiarity with antenna design and associated design tools
? Familiarity with RF measurement techniques
? Familiarity with RF power supply design and troubleshooting
? Familiarity with stepper motors, drives and controls
? Familiarity with computational EM codes (ANSOFT HFSS and Designer preferred)
? Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
? Ability to rapidly prototype new designs, including hands on fabrication
? Ability to interface directly with customers to meet design criteria
