RF Product Design Engineer III

RF Product Design Engineer III This position is responsible for the planning, evaluation, documentation and development of RF/Microwave components, modules, sub-assemblies and sub-systems for standard and custom products.  As such will create detailed designs, generate schematics, develop verification and optimization procedures, and conduct computer simulations, performing worst case analysis.  Other duties include:Create and or lead the creation of ?standard? documentation packages (BOM, Assembly diagrams, Flowsheets, etc.)Perform as technical point of contact for throughout bid proposal process, from bid through the completion of the contractRespond to RFQ/RFPs input & quote information relative to Engineering & Production costsProvide technical clarifications for bidsSpecification development with customerGenerate of meet materialsParticipate in negotiations of waivers and customer specification revisionsCompletion failure analyses and corrective actionsTest, tune, and troubleshoot components & assemblies, including:Amplifiers, filters, mixers, switches and passive devicesAssemblies including various combinations of the aboveOversee and direction the generation of product design drawing by drafting personnelRequirements:BS Electrical Engineering with knowledge typically gained through 7-10 years of RF/Microwave design experience (may be any combination of related education and experience)Thorough understanding of microstrip and stripline ?building blocks? including switches, attenuators, divider/combiners, couplers, etc. including both low and high power devicesCapable of creating and modifying RF designs to meet basic specifications such as required Loss/Gain, VSWR, BW, video, IP3?s, etc.Familiarity with Basic Microwave Circuits and automated circuit designFamiliarity with scheduling & pricing relative to Engineering & Production costsThorough understanding of operating the following:Network Analyzers including time domainOscilloscopesVarious high power set-upsSpectrum AnalyzersPulse GeneratorsNoise Figure MeterHigh Power Amplifiers/SourcesAbility to obtain and maintain a security clearance Interested and qualified candidates please email your resume to:Dan Oliverdoliver@alchemytechnical.com http://www.alchemytechnical.com/Do you know anyone who would appreciate knowing about this job?Please forward this message to them.
