RF Systems/Receivers


Responsibilities:

Sr. RF Receiver design and development for mobile cell phone technology.
Definition of entire RF engine from antenna to baseband interface
Alignment of Infineon devices and 3rd party components (technical terms of delivery, schedule, availability)
Support the customer with technical expertise, for integration of Hardware, Software and Calibration.
Support a OEM supplier with L1 integration for Power gain slopes and calibration algorithims.
Facilitate the co-ordination of Layer 2 documentation. 
Provide support for design of L1 integration for Mobile phone systems
RFIC concept engineering / system planning
Providing technical support to customers, including device knowledge of Infineon and 3rd party products, low level software, and hardware and system design
Alignment of features and new concepts, assisting internal and external customers with system architecture early in the development cycle
Working with customers and Infineon system development engineers during the implementation and debug phases of engine design
Working with marketing on the creation and alignment of engine roadmap and future feature roadmap
Alignment of technical interface parameters with 3rd party partners
Writing system hardware specifications for entire engine covering all relevant timings, interfaces and peripheral blocks (Baseband, Power management unit etc)
Accumulating customer inputs for future product definition and improvement
Anticipating customers’ technical issues and needs and communication into development groups
Completing committed actions on time
Providing inputs for continuous competition benchmarking
Providing technical assessments of customer opportunities
Relationship building with customers and partners engineering, standard bodies and carriers.



Qualifications:

Minimum of Masters Degree required
5+ years hands-on RF cellular mobile phone, mobile phone reengineering
Strong Customer Support Experience including EBIT leverage and anticipation of market needs
Mathematicaly abstract Algorithm development experience
In depth knowledge of algorithm implemntation for key RF performance improvements.
Strong background and expertise in Integration, and extensive RF system knowledge. 

Education: Masters (or equivalent work experience)
