Job Responsibilities:

Fully support and drive from concept phase through development, the analysis and prediction of system level and circuit level performance for the next generation of SDARS products.  The individual must be able to fully simulate and model all aspects of the entire radio receiver chain including noise figure, gain, interference, modulation and all other aspcts of the receiver operation.



Functional/Industry Knowledge 
Required:

Looking for and individual who is expert in wireless system design and analysis.  Proficient in Noise Figure, interference, modulation and coding techniques in modern communications receivers.  Must be a user of Matlab, ADS, COSSAP, C++ or other system analysis tools.  Understanding and knowledge of RF and baseband IC design techniques and technologies is a plus.  A thorough understanding of frequency planning and synthesizer analysis and design is also required.

 

This individual must be both highly analytical and well grounded in wireless and communications theory and have an eager willingness to lead and participate in lab based situations as needed. 

 

Candidate must be at least MSEE.  Ph D preferred.  At least 7 years experience required.
