RF Tech II-IIII

SUMMARY Perform a variety of moderately complex technical tasks, under limited supervision, to ensure product quality standards are met. Must be able to interpret results, recognize failures, and take appropriate action. May completely troubleshoot product to determine cause of problem and suggest remedy. Work entails utilizing complex functions of programmable network analyzers to conduct moderately complex testing and troubleshooting. May be required to analyze and summarize results, to make recommendation, and otherwise assist in general laboratory work. Product performance specifications may not be well defined and may require judgment or interpretation. Attention to detail and organizational skills a must. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Engineering Specifics: Moderately complex external and internal matching skills utilizing commercial level bonding specifications. Under general supervision, may assist engineers with: detailed experimental testing, fabricating and assembling for product and prototype unit testing from schematics, rough sketches, and verbal instructions. May require manual die and component attach skills. May conduct detailed experimental testing; solving problems involved in the operations of the product. May require basic use of MAC model and/or SUN applications, utilization of spreadsheets and work processors. May assist with routine paperwork associated with product. ? Individual must be able to program manage several jobs simultaneously. ? Must have timely & through data collection and organizing skills. ? Must have in-depth knowledge of network analyzers. ? Overtime, to include some weekend work may be required. ? Must be able to coordinate workflow through multiple work centers. ? Knowledge and experience of Excel a must.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE AS degree or equivalent is with a major in electronics or appropriate technical field preferred. One to two years experience required.
