RF Technician

We are looking for two experienced, high level RF Technicians to help us develop our Ultra Wideband technology.  In this position you will spend much of your time in one of the labs at the Pulse Link facility, assisting the engineers with building, testing, and debugging board level prototypes of Ultra Wideband systems.  To do this you will need solid experience using test instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and network analyzers.  A familiarity with coding in LabView, knowledge of PCB layout design tools (preferably PADS), solid debugging skills and good soldering techniques is also desirable.

 

For this role you will need to have demonstrated practical experience in setting up RF test equipment and be familiar with data acquisition procedures.  You will also need to be able to write up understandable reports on findings and issues.

 

Requirements:  We are looking for someone with an Associates degree in Electronics (or equivalent) and several years of experience.  Experience working with RF prototypes in wireless communication, as well as strengths in research, documentation of results, writing reports on findings, and identifying anomalies is a big plus.
