RF Magic has an excellent opportunity for a seasoned RFIC Test Engineer to plan and develop automated RFIC test solutions for RF Magic products aimed at consumer broadband wireless, digital terrestrial and satellite TV and consumer entertainment markets. Engage with cross functional teams including Design, Systems Engineering, Marketing and Applications resources to drive on-time production ramp of multiple RFIC products. Develop and drive test priorities, plans, and implementation schedules consistent with corporate goals and test strategy. Produce high quality, cost effective fast, repeatable, and re-usable test solutions supporting design validation, characterization, qualification and production. Influence design for testability.

 

The qualified candidate will have a BSEE degree with 5+ years of relevant experience developing RF test solutions and testing RF systems.  Must have proven ability to develop RFIC test solutions using commercial ATE (Automated Test Equipment) and semi-automated bench equipment (rack-n-stack) is needed. Experience with RFIC systems, test equipment, test methods and applications are required. A demonstrated track record of hands-on RFIC troubleshooting, design validation and characterization is required. Experience with manual and semi-automated bench-based or rack-n-stack test equipment is required. Experience with production class RFIC ATE systems and data analysis tools is desired. Candidates need to be team players with dynamic/positive attitudes, possess an insightful approach to problem solving and have valuable intuition & experience.
