Job Description
The individual in this position will perform detailed circuit design for integrated RF amplifiers, mixers, filters, VCOs and power amplifiers for RFICs. Responsibilities will include: system level performance analysis and block level specification determination, functional level circuit architecture, design capture and simulation using an advanced CAD environment, transistor level circuit layout and direction of mask design resources, laboratory validation of circuits performance and system impact of functional block performance on the IC, selection of components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, and review of vendor capability to support development
Required Skills
BSEE or equivalent required and graduate level degree strongly preferred. At least five to eight years of applicable or direct experience is required with a thorough knowledge of LNA, mixer, power amplifier, synthesizer, and RF filter design. Knowledge of CMOS RF is preferred.

RF System Staff Engineer (RF System Team Leader)
Job Description
Work in a technical leadership role in a team to bring highly integrated RF chipsets and total radio solutions to market. The main emphasis will be to determine the RF system partitioning, architecture, and performance requirements. This work will include system simulation and budgeting using tools such as Agilent ADS, MATLAB, and MS Excel, validation of hardware architectures, components, and system prototypes against specifications; and hands-on lab work to identify and resolve hardware issues. Additional responsibilities include working as necessary with customers and partners to integrate RF chipsets into handset designs; and the mentoring of junior-level engineers and technicians.
Required Skills
MSEE or equivalent (PHD preferred) and a minimum of 10 years work experience as an RF/Microwave Engineer. At least five of the required years of experience should be in cellular handset system RF design/analog ASIC development, with several years in a technical leadership role. Experience with board-level development of GSM/GPRS, GSM/EDGE, and/or WCDMA handset design is also required. Sr. Communications Systems Engineer (BB System Senior Engineer)

Should be well versed in RTL coding and have thorough knowledge of ASIC and FPGA design flows and tools. Must be capable of pre-silicon design verification and post-silicon lab validation. Ability to translate requirements to efficient silicon implementation is required.
Required Skills
BSEE or similiar and 5+ years experience or MSEE and 2+ years experience. Experience with FPGA/ASIC synthesis tools like Leonardo Spectrum or Synopsys Physical Compiler is required.
