RFIC Product Engineer / OPS798

Position Description: This individual works closely with the RFIC design team during development and release of broad range of high performance RF/Analog Circuit designs targeting multiple wireless markets. Works closely with the design team in down selecting the final design and manages the transition of the final designs to production. This role is responsible for qualification of the new products, qualification of any subsequent changes to the products as well as resolving any technical gaps between the designs and manufacturing requirements. Works closely with design, test, assembly and device engineering to drive product improvements and cost reduction initiatives after initial product release.



Qualifications:

BSEE or equivalent, MSEE preferred, plus 5 or more years of experience in design/application or product engineering of the following devices: LNAs, VGAs, switches, attenuators, modulators, mixers, power detectors. Familiarity with MESFET/PHEMT device operation. Familiarity with both Si and GaAs technologies and BiCOMS/CMOS device operations. Ability to collect, analyze and present concise data and work with different engineering and operation functions. Working knowledge of statistical process control techniques and familiarity with Six Sigma process improvement methodology.
