***Regional Manager, Quality Assurance Position Available ***

 



Job Responsibilities:

Develops, establishes and maintains FUS quality assurance programs, policies, processes, procedures and controls ensuring that performance and quality of service conform to established standards while enhancing customer satisfaction.

1. Applies knowledge of quality concepts, techniques, methodologies and systems to achieve the NA FUS business objectives in support of UL's Strategy and goals.

2. Develops and implements methodologies for evaluating the approach, deployment and results of process improvements for NA FUS. Assesses Global quality improvement initiatives/projects.

3. Monitors all Regional issues, audit activities and corrective/preventative actions to ensure proper escalation, communication and resolution are achieved. Works with management and staff to ensure Regional's compliance with all established requirements.

4. Ensures appropriate implementation of quality improvement initiatives and/or solutions for NA FUS.

5. Manages performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing feedback and guidance, and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.

6. Performs other duties as directed.

 

Job Requirements:

University degree (equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor?s degree) in Engineering, Business

Administration or related field plus generally twelve years of directly related experience.

Demonstrated proficiency in quality methodologies and quality (business) systems' implementation (i.e. ISO9000:2000, Six Sigma or Baldrige)

Extensive hands-on experience in leading change programs with a progressive orgainzation

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects.

Demonstrated ability to work within a matrix environment.

Demonstrated ability to manage a department budget.

MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
