Essential Job Functions:

 Project Management.Auto Cad design experience.Mechanical Repair/ability.Strong in shop skills including welding, metal fabrication, cost estimating, field fabrication, sizing and specifying of equipment.

 

Job Requirements:

 B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.10 ? 20 years of solid experience with Auto Cad, project management and mechanical repair/reliability programs in a materials handling environment.25% ? 40% overnight travel required.Must be well versed in shop skills such as metal fabrication, welding, cost estimating, field fabrication, motor sizing, equipment selection (motors, bearings, etc.), load structure analysis.Must have basic background in electrical and PLC systems.Working experience with OSHA 1910, NFPA 70-E is necessary.Ability to work with varied parties including operators, plant management and contractors as necessary. Must have demonstrated proven performance in managing projects ranging from $250M to $5MM. Must be floor-ready and must enjoy working in the shop and on the floor.
