Mission:

 

Lead the deployment of the Reliability Center Maintenance system across all sites in order to improve Operations Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) performance and improve machine reliability.  Coach and train the organization on key reliability methods and standards to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of the equipment and drive best demonstrated practices across the organization.  Key objective is to reduce/eliminate equipment variation.

 

Job Functions: Job functions include, but are not limited to the following.

?  Lead the development and execution of corporate RCM processes for all Domestic and European Converting Operations and Mill Operations.

?  Partner with corporate, business unit, site leaders, and vendors to develop an effective SAP maintenance management information system deployment and long-term use strategy.

?  Develop succinct communication strategies to promote RCM buy-in of key business leaders.

?  Lead the development and execution of a data-driven process to identify and improve critical manufacturing equipment reliability.

?  Standardize Operational Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) equipment availability goals by machine type for critical converting and paper equipment.

?  Develop, communicate, and teach an evolving set of maintenance management business metrics based on RCM cultural state and progression. 

?  Lead the development of standard equipment maintenance and analysis processes for site execution.

?  Identify and deploy RCM best practices within and outside the Paper and Pulp industry.

?  Partner with corporate and business unit procurement leaders to leverage spare parts replenishment processes.

?  Lead corporate and business unit Design for Six Sigma teams to optimize new equipment start-ups and life cycle costs.

?  Mentor, train, and coach RCM Converting and Mill Managers to effectively employ preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability.

?  Mentor, train, and coach RCM converting and mill managers to employ root cause failure analysis, failure mode effect and analysis (FMEA), mean time to repair (MTTR) and mean time between repair (MTBR) process improvement tools to improve equipment reliability.

?  Develop concise, formal training materials to facilitate RCM manager growth and development.

?  Lead, train, and develop Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED) Converting (Mill) Design Teams to optimize equipment utilization.

?  Lead, train and develop Lean teams to standardize maintenance equipment and spare parts storerooms.

?  Lead the development of a cross utilization training (CUT) program to optimize site individual craftsman and maintenance organizational performance.

?  Utilizing maintenance program performance metrics to evaluate success of equipment preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

?  Manage multiple facilities projects to improve reliability and reduce overall maintenance costs.

?  Leads the utilization of on-equipment and off-equipment repair strategies to optimize equipment up-time.


Education and Professional Qualifications:

 10 years experience ?world class? maintenance management experience in aerospace, automotive medical, or paper and pulp industry.5 years experience working in corporate level RCM management activities preferred.Excellent public speaking and written communication skills.Experience establishing common spare part identification process; and, working with corporate or business unit level procurement managers to affect discount quantity buys.Experience with new equipment acquisition strategies and full project management.Minimum 4 year engineering degree, Masters degree a plus.Lean certified preferredSix Sigma and/or Lean Training preferredSAP experience preferred.
