The Opportunity: Reliability Test Engineer

-Develop electronic platforms to compile data on reliability and failure reports.
-Build systems to capture the failures experienced during product development stages and project reliability at launch using classical techniques.
-Document and institutionalize reliability test standards/protocols for various mechanical/electrical component failure modes.


Responsibilities:

-Build systems to capture the failures experienced during product development stages and project reliability at launch using classical techniques.
-Document and institutionalize reliability test standards/protocols for various mechanical/electrical component failure modes.
-Develop electronic platforms to compile data on reliability and failure reports.
-Maintain reliability tests scorecards for critical components and new platform designs.
-Review the reliability verification/validation status reports prepared by internal project teams and combines information into a program status report to present and/or submit to management and others.
-Review the reliability verification/validation status reports prepared by critical suppliers reliability teams and combines information into a program status report to present and/or submit to reliaby manager and purchasing.

 

Competencies:

-C#, C++ and .NET,
-proficiency with UML and 0013 methodologies
-proficiency in web technologies including HTML, ASP, XML, ITS, lavaScript.
-Some HVAC expertise in developing Highly Accelerated Life Tests (HALT), arid Hiqhly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) tests for various critical components is a plus.

Qualifications:

BS (ideal MS) in Computer Science or EE
Staistical knowlege
Hardware/Software interfaces
HVAC experience a plus
