Description of Work:
Assist with the organizational process improvement program activities including:

Engineering process development including writing new processes and maintaining existing processes.
Effectively communicating with various levels of the organization to report status, announce changes, provide training.
Act as resource to the organization for process and CMMI content and interpretation issues.
Participate in the development and maintenance of a web enables process deployment strategy.
Support ISO 9000 and CMMI process integration efforts.
Project data collection and cataloging in preparation for SCAMPI Appraisals.

Assist with project deployment of organizational standard processes including:

Working with project personnel to develop appropriate project specific tailoring.
Assisting in incorporating the tailiored process into project specific plans (SEMP, etc.).
Provide process assistance and training to project personnel as the project progresses.
Provide feedback to the organizational process improvement efforts with project experiences as appropriate.

Support other aspects of the departmental responsibiliites including organizational training support and measurement implementatio and data collection, as occasioally required.

Job Requirements:
Must have 6 -15 Years of applicable experience.
Must have BS in Engineering or Business Discipline.
Strong Micorsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel) user skills.
Available for occasional business travel.
Available for occasional overtime.
Able to utilize computer equipment (50% of time).
Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interface comfortable with several levels of management.
Web tools and development experience a plus.
US citizenship required, and ability to obtain security clearance
SEI authorized "Introduction to CMMI" a course a plus.
