Description of Work:
Coordiinate with all disciplines and lead / pull information for intital and change release process.
Lead consolidation of multiple infomration / efforts within department - one central source / support ETP efforts as needed.

Coordination with Systems Engineering regarding Specifications Change Notice (SCN).
Support design reviews / IPT collaboration through all phases of life cycle.
Support Integrated Processes System (IPS) and Transactional Six Sigma efforts.

Multi-tasking for shared knowledge across program CM/DM/BM efforts, for core processes - matured programs and new programs.

Support management of the configurations from concept through release, while working collaboratively with all disciplines (materials, quality, manufacturing, etc).
Coordinate / manage standard and catalog part libraries (CAD / other), CM/DM/BM processes (formal and informal) for use and updates in programs.
Support CM/DM/BM conduct of parts screening program to insure that availability of parts are being used to the fullest extent, minimize duplication efforts.
Support CM coordination / management of Product Structure / Indentured Parts Lists Configurations in the current tools (CMStat) and new tools (Windchill, Oracle, other).
- CM maintenance: revision, iteration, baselines, of Product Structure through life cycle program milestones and releases BTA-SFR-PDR-CDR-Production: Concept through Release and Change.

Support verification of configurations when dual systems are used during transitions (CMSTAT / PDM / Oracle), and in agreement
Support and become a member in CDBM (Configuration Data and Baseline Management) department for model based definition effort with utilization of Pro/Engineer, Product View, Windchill, Intralink. Share knowledge with co-workers.
Support involvement in source selection committees. GDLS CM is responsible for all major subcontractors Configuration Management
Coordinate / facilitate subcontractor CM plan audits and compliance

Become cross functional in support of all Configuration and Data Management sections and use of various information data management tools as required.

Job Requirements:
The candidate should have the following skills and abilities:
Personal computer applications (Microsoft Office applications)
Experience with Pro/Engineer / Intralink
Design / drafting background. (GD&T a plus)
Windchill or other collaborative data environments preferred
Ability to learn new data management tools and methods
People skills / diplomacy
Bachelor degree in any engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, industrial, etc.) preferred, experience will be considered in lieu of degree. Business management with above listed exeprience also will be considered.
