Qualifications:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will be a contributor on a variety of development and research projects in the area of polymer processing. The candidate will assist in planning experiments and will be ?hands on? in executing experimental plans. In addition the candidate will provide supervision to the second shift activities. The candidate will ensure that equipment is operated safely, that appropriate procedures are followed and that the work is well documented. The candidate will report to the Group Leader of the Polymer Processing group in the Northboro Research and Development Center.

2) Demonstrate an ability to accelerate research activities to meet the aggressive demands of a fast paced research environment
3) Show proactive commitment to quality and continuous improvement
4) Document results in a manner consistent with company intellectual property procedures


COMPETENCIES:
The candidate should have a MS in Polymer Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering with 0 to 5 years of industrial experience. The candidate should have experience in the areas of polymer processing and formulation. Experience with powder injection molding (PIM) would be desirable. Computer simulation experience would also be desired.The candidate should have good communication skills and good time management skills. This is a second shift position.
