Reservoir Engineers

The Reservoir Engineers will work as key members of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver cost-efficient recovery of proven and non-proven reserves through reservoir management, well interventions and development drilling.


Accountabilities Include:

Working within the team to ensure delivery of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) production, and cost targets through optimization of the base well set.
Delivering an active well intervention program.
Identifying, evaluating and implementing infill drilling opportunities.
Evaluating reservoir performance and recommending/implementing appropriate surveillance and management plans to maximize rate and recovery.
Supporting production engineers in well work analysis.
Understanding reservoir fluid movement and recovery mechanism to evaluate rig and non-rig workover, acid stimulations, and adding perforations.
Participating in planning activities such as production forecasting, performance analysis, reserves estimation, depletion planning, and portfolio management.


Required Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Reservoir Engineer applicants must have:

Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer.
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in production, surveillance and/or reservoir engineering.
Strong commitment to HSE.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in developing risk assessments on infill development well and/or new field development.
Demonstrated self-motivation, initiative and creative thinking.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the required qualifications the successful candidate is likely to be able to demonstrate:

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with a PC.
Minimum of intermediate level skill with UNIX.
Fundamental economic analysis skills.
Minimum of 3 years of experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
