SALES DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER - PA

Be part of an outstanding sale team working for a leading custom injection molder. Wanted: a Sales Development Engineer to help them achieve the next level of successful growth by capturing new business at automotive, industrial, transportation OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. This means a ?take charge? approach is needed toward achieving new business development goals.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for sales from several of the company?s state of the art molding facilities.

 

The Sales Engineer will:

 

?  Develop new business plan and execute by active multilevel sales to key accounts and prospects.

?  Work with the engineering team and customer service department to provide needed customer support.

?  Sell directly to automotive and non-automotive molded part suppliers and OEMs.

?  Have the ability to work from company headquarters in central PA.

 

Experience requirements:

 

?  5 years combined sales and engineering experience selling and servicing molded parts customers supplying the automotive and off-road vehicle markets.

●  5 years added experience in marketing or market development for an automotive OEM or tier-1 supplier.

?  Knowledge of quality standards and plastics mechanical properties. Molding plant experience is a requirement. Experience with thermoformed, FRP or molded parts a plus.

?  Demonstrated excellence in sales skills as related to building business and closing major accounts. Ability to help conceive new products and applications at customer operations.

?  A four-year college degree, preferably in science or engineering.



What you will have:

 

?  Salary: $60K-$70K with MBO/PS bonus to 30%

?  Mileage reimbursement, expenses
