SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEERS


We are searching for experienced Senior Mechanical Engineers to add to our growing team of engineering professionals in our Atlanta office.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

? Develop mechanical designs, including calculations, drawings and specifications for municipal, industrial, and commercial building and infrastructure projects (HVAC, process piping, plumbing and fire protection).

? Consult with clients to determine project requirements and provide requested services in accordance with safety, code and budgetary requirements.

? Ensure mechanical system designs are in compliance with applicable code and government regulations.

? Clarify and coordinate functional requirements with project team and with clients. Interface directly with clients.

? Prepare technical evaluations, analyses, and reports. Provide cost estimates.

? Identify and develop project scopes and engineering manpower estimates.

 

Minimum Requirements:

? Bachelor?s degree in Mechanical Engineering and minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent.

? Strong municipal, industrial, and commercial design background.

? Licensed P. E. in the state of Georgia or ability to become licensed upon hire strongly preferred.

? Strong oral and written communication skills.

? Good working knowledge of reviewing, editing, and producing AutoCAD drawings.

? Understanding of applications required to produce estimates, schedules and comprehensive project cost accounting.

? Thorough understanding of applicable codes and industry standards.

? Ability to meet deadlines within budget.

? Ability to work independently as well as with others to produce desired results with minimal supervision.
