Senior Network Software Engineer

As a member of a top-notch technical team, the Senior Network Software Engineer is responsible for developing innovative wireless networking solutions. The effort is focused on the routing layer of the wireless network.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

? As an individual contributor this position is responsible for implementing routing protocol designed for wireless ad hoc networking in a linux-based mobile network emulation platform.

? This position requires you to work with the researchers very closely.

? Your networking software will be required to be easily transitionable to embedded platforms such as FPGA or Microprocessors (e.g., StrongARM).

? You will participate in project technical reviews

 Qualifications:

? BSEE, BSCS, MS preferred.

? At least 8 years in linux user-level and kernel programming.

? Experience in using and modifying ?iptables? module in Linux 2.6.x.

? Knowledge of wireless multi-hop ad hoc networking systems.

? Experience with network standards and protocols with specific knowledge of IP routing and IP header compression.

?DoD SECRET clearance a plus.

?MUST  be a US CITIZEN.
