SITE ENGINEER

Swagelok Company is a global developer and manufacturer of fluid system components for a variety of industries since 1947. We have openings at our sites in Solon and Concord.

Performs production support engineering work, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in supporting processes and/or systems. Assignments have clear and specified objectives and require the investigation of a limited number of alternatives. Develops thoughts and ideas into engineered solutions with guidance from supervisor or other engineers. Effectively participates in a team setting to achieve results.

Key Responsibilities: Supports and continuously improves processes, capacity & equipment using current project management and process control methodologies.Identifies, creates and applies best practices and standards.Provides plant-wide analytical problem solving and process troubleshooting support.Trains engineers, technicians and non-technical associates. Supports quoting of in-plant manufacturing costs.Acts as a site resource for technical questions related to processes and/or product lines.Communicates progress through updates and meetings. Coordinates the work of drafters, technicians and others who assist on specific assignments (as needed).

Requirements:Education: BS degree in a technical field plus appropriate continuous training.Experience: 3+ years of experience in a developmental professional position.Skills/Knowledge: Typically responsible for the support of multiple processes of moderate complexity. Applies proven technology and/or designs. Applies reason and logic in problem solving. Good oral and written communication skills. Good computer and office software skills.
