Position Overview:

This position reports to the Senior Quality Manager for TRW Automotive?s Braking business unit.  The unit currently has manufacturing facilities throughout North America with support teams located in Livonia, Michigan.  Primary responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

 

Direct, monitor and review supplier APQP activities as related to launch. Evaluate and approve supplier problem-solving effectiveness including root cause analysis through implementation of corrective actions. Work with suppliers to develop continuous improvement plans amd metrics to monitor performance. Participate in kick-off meetings and supplier design reviews. Interface with customer and suppliers alike in with regards to advanced quality planning and current quality issues. Some( approx 30%) travel required.

 

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in technical, business or statistics and 4-7 years in above duties.

 

This position will be located at the TRW facility in Livonia, Michigan.
